Contemporary Echoes: Rediscovering Italian Art from 1950-1980

From 5 May to 26 November 2026

Curated by Renato Miracco, “Contemporary Echoes” aims to highlight, through a selection of works from BFF Collection, the diverse identities of a period that lies at the foundation of contemporary art history, shedding light on the deep, documented, and intrinsic connections between Italian and American artists from the 1950s to the 1980s.
The exhibition features works by nine Italian artists of the era—Franco Angeli, Enrico Baj, Alberto Burri, Mario Ceroli, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Piero Dorazio, Gianfranco Pardi, Mario Schifano, and Emilio Tadini—who established a dialogue with the American art scene.

“Contemporary Echoes,” previously exhibited in New York and Washington D.C. in 2024, will run throughNovember 26, 2026.
