The Lisbon edition of the exhibition focused on the dialogue between graphic art and literature, reflected also in the exhibition design and in the selection of works on paper.
Organized under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co‑operation, the exhibition ran from 12 October to 30 November 2023 at Palácio Galveias Library.
Being the oldest library in the city, Galveias Palace is an integral part of Portuguese history, bound up with the lives of renowned local writers, first and foremost José Saramago. The choice of the exhibition venue in Lisbon was itself intended to underline the nature of BFF’s relationship with the local community, which is not exclusively commercial, economic or financial, but also based on engagement and cultural exchange.
