BFF Gallery: Behind the Scenes

Discovering the Museum Through Its Storage

10-23 November 2026

As part of the Corporate Culture Week, promoted by Museimpresa and Confindustria, BFF Gallery opens the doors of its art storage facility, inviting visitors to explore a space that is normally inaccessible to the public.

Part of the 2026 edition “Knowledge to Compete”, the initiative encourages reflection on the value of knowledge as a tool for understanding one’s roots, building identity, and generating value for the future. In this context, the art storage facility represents one of the places where the history of the Collection takes shape and is preserved, making visible the daily work that lies behind every museum activity. For this reason, truly understanding a museum means looking beyond what is displayed in its galleries.

Through a guided tour, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the space where works from the BFF Collection are stored, studied, and prepared for future exhibition projects.  The tour offers a unique chance to view works that are rarely accessible to the public, learn more about conservation and artwork handling practices, and gain insight into the work that ensures the long-term preservation and enhancement of the Collection.

Guided tours are free of charge and will take place from 10 to 23 November 2026:

-at 11:00 a.m. : Book now

Each guided tour will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by the opportunity to visit the exhibition “Contemporary Echoes. Rediscovering Italian Art from 1950–1980” independently.
